Terms of Service

Effective date: July 21, 2026 · Last updated: July 21, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Mitta’s websites (including letsmitta.com) and the Mitta iOS application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct.

The Service

Mitta helps people match for short, peer-to-peer video learning sessions about AI and related skills. Features may change during beta. Access may be limited (e.g. TestFlight invite).

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.

Accounts and authentication

Sign-in is provided via third-party identity providers (Google and/or Apple). You agree to provide accurate profile information and keep it reasonably up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
  • Share illegal, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content on video
  • Spam, solicit unrelated sales, or abuse matching
  • Record sessions without clear consent from all participants
  • Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service unlawfully
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your expertise in a harmful way

Violations may result in warning, suspension, or permanent removal. See the Code of Conduct.

Sessions, guides, and payments

During early beta, pricing and payout features may be limited or unavailable. When paid sessions are enabled, additional payment terms will apply. Guides are independent peers, not Mitta employees, unless we expressly say otherwise.

Content you provide

You retain rights to content you submit (e.g. profile text, reflections). You grant Mitta a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and use that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.

Third-party services

The Service relies on providers such as Supabase, Daily.co, Resend, Apple, and analytics/diagnostics vendors. Their terms and privacy practices also apply to their processing.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Learning outcomes are not guaranteed. Peer guidance is not professional advice.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MITTA AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mitta from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion in the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the community.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires otherwise.
